I make Android apps and put them on Google Play. Three are live right now. The artwork and the trailers for them are mine too, and I repair phones on the side.
Most of what's on this page started as something that annoyed me on my own phone. I wanted prayer times that still worked with no signal, a Quran app that wouldn't stop the moment the screen went off, and a way to block a hundred spam numbers with one rule instead of a hundred. Nobody was going to build those for me, so I did.
Kotlin most of the time, Java when a project is old enough to need it. Most of the work goes into the things you only notice when they're wrong: how fast it opens, whether it comes back after a reboot, how much battery it takes while you aren't looking. New builds go out on my Telegram channel before they reach the Play Store.

Prayer times, Qibla, Quran reading, nearby mosques and a Hijri calendar. It finds your location or you set it by hand, you pick the calculation method your mosque uses, and it keeps enough cached to still work on a plane or in a basement.

The complete Murattal Mushaf in Sheikh Mohamed Siddiq Al-Minshawi's voice. It keeps playing with the screen off, downloads surah by surah so you're never streaming the same one twice, and searches all 114.

A nudge to send blessings upon the Prophet ﷺ. You set the interval, a dial counts down to the next one, and it stays quiet through the hours you choose. You can record your own sound for it. It comes back after a reboot without being asked.
In development
Spam callers rotate through a whole block of numbers, and Android only lets you block them one at a time. This one blocks by pattern, so a single rule covers the block. It handles unknown and withheld numbers too, and it has quiet hours. It never asks for internet permission, so your call log has nowhere to go.

A clipboard manager that encrypts everything it keeps and puts the history behind your fingerprint. It catches copies system-wide through an LSPosed hook instead of polling in the background, which is also why it needs LSPosed to run at all.

Changes the system font on a rooted phone without ever writing to
/system. It wraps any .ttf or
.otf you hand it into a Magisk or KernelSU module, so
updates still install and one tap puts the stock font back. You see
the font before you commit to it.

A notification holding the four things I was tired of digging out of Settings: silent mode, auto-rotate, auto-brightness and screenshot. One tap each. That's the whole app.
My daily phone, and the first thing every build lands on.
Still on Android 9. I keep it because it's slow: if something feels fine here, it feels fine anywhere.
